This art was part of my POP! Showcase in May 2025. Paintings of Prompts, which were focused on 15 randomly generated spring-inspired words, was a one-night-only showcase featuring other MN artists. It was super fun, and a good way to get the spring time vibes up.
POP! Prompt - Teal
I could've gone many different directions with the prompt "teal," but I settled on this Miami-Vice-esque scene just swapped out for the Minneapolis skyline we all know and love. Throw a palm tree in the mix and you can almost forget that we sometimes experience negative 50 degree days here as we long for our hotter-than-heck summers.
