MN Art was created for Minnesota artists by a Minnesota Artist. MN Art aims to create an art community that lifts each other up by engaging new audiences and allowing art lovers to reconnect with their favorite artists and discover new artists. 

Starting his professional artistic practice in 1999, Adam Turman is turning his passion of art towards his fellow artist community and creating a space for artists to uplift each others’ work to reach a wider audience of Minnesotan art lovers. Through MN Art, he hopes to use this space to give back to the Minnesotan art community by creating an accessible online gallery for both artists and art collectors.

About the Curator

Adam Turman is an artist, muralist, and screen printer, from the Twin Cities of Minnesota. His bold style offers colorful takes on beloved Minnesota landmarks, the great outdoors, iconic pop culture, and riffs on our nostalgia. Adam’s murals can be found throughout the Midwest, and his paintings and screen prints in private collections worldwide. He works with major brands, independent businesses, and private collectors to make art part of our everyday.

Adam grew up in the Twin Cities and got his start as an artist by making gig posters for bands coming through popular Twin Cities venues. He drew influence from the bold, graphic style of 80s art and comics. He has taken his love of creating work for big brands and private commissions, and since then has become one of Minnesota’s most popular artists.
