This art was part of my POP! Showcase in May 2025. Paintings of Prompts, which were focused on 15 randomly generated spring-inspired words, was a one-night-only showcase featuring other MN artists. It was super fun, and a good way to get the spring time vibes up.
POP! Prompt - Prance
Honestly, the first thought I have for a piece of art based off of a single word, is usually the direction I end up going with. In this case, when I think of the word "Prance" I immediately think of a horse's gate, a prancing pony if you will. I also love to paint the super vibrantly colored Dala horses whenever I can, so I decided to paint a prancing Dala horse for this prompt.
