This art was part of my POP! Showcase in May 2025. Paintings of Prompts, which were focused on 15 randomly generated spring-inspired words, was a one-night-only showcase featuring other MN artists. It was super fun, and a good way to get the spring time vibes up.
POP! Prompt - Duck
I went pretty literal with this prompt, but I just wanted to paint something that would make people smile. Did this duck butt make you smile at least a little bit? I immediately thought of ducks flipping over in a lake, their funny little butts and feet the only visible parts of them as they submerge their head underwater.
