Collection: Set Adrift Art
Originally from Sydney, Australia, Tim Chapman is the founder and artist behind Set Adrift Art—a Minnesota-based studio known for bold, playful illustrations that celebrate the places people love. In 2018, Tim made the leap across the globe, following his heart (and a Minnesotan named Anna) to St. Paul. The name Set Adrift is a nod to that journey—leaving one home behind and building a new one here in Minnesota.
Tim’s work is often described as a colorful love letter to the state. From neighborhood dive bars and historic landmarks to peaceful lake scenes, his art captures the spirit and quirks of everyday places with warmth, humor, and a touch of nostalgia.
Beyond Minnesota moments, his portfolio includes pop art pieces inspired by vintage cartoons, cult icons, and classic throwbacks—personal favorites that speak to his own creative roots.
